Before the main comedy sketch, a musical
number would be performed by a group of dancers, sometimes all-female, other
times mixed, known as "The Redettes," often featuring leggy costuming
and depicting Female Dominance in a hokey show-tune style... The sketches also occasionally presented Vamps / Femme Fatales for Red to play off of, a comedy shtick inherited from his movies... |
