took the
Bewitched
concept even further, bringing male fantasy-wish fulfillment to it's zenith: the
genie in the bottle isn't some big bald Arab, but a buxom, pert blonde who not
only wants to grant all your wishes, but worship you... Barbara Eden qualifies
as the Dream Girl of many-a-man and there's a good chance the plot or other
characters sometimes might not register as a guy could easily become transfixed
just watching Jeannie be Jeannie... And as the series wore on she inexplicably
became even more beautiful, as Ms. Eden is truly one of the rare beauties who
continued to flower as she aged, and donned some of the more enticing late 60s'
fashions... She started past 30 when the series began, and by the last episode
in 1971 she was even more stunning than in the first ep...
