Francis is the bridge between the Marilyn Monroe voluptuous aesthetic and the
hard-body principle... Pre-FemLib, she doesn't want to be man-like, nor be equal
to men: She is Superior to men because she is utterly Feminine... It is the
Power of Her Femininity that dominates men, and the series plays up man's
astonishment / anger /frustration of being beaten / losing out to a WOman... So
glamorous, always paying attention to fashion & girly-things, exhibiting innate
Female Instincts, at times mothering, teasing, playful, but mostly she's smart -
always ahead of the man - even when it seems she's at a disadvantage she makes a
joke of it and turns the table on her male adversary... She always wins and
ultimately no man can resent her, but must admire and recognize her
Superiority...

The
only weakness to the series is the obvious use of a male stunt double... Just
when you think Honey's getting ready to shred a guy a long-shot cut jumps in
and it looks plain silly to see some stuntman lurching around in a blonde wig,
cross-dressing as a WOman... Usually the best action is not when Honey
over-exerts / brawls, forcing the need for a double, but when she's looking
for a quick hit, in-close to a guy, getting in sharp karate chops and kicks...
