Get Smart

While the comedy emphasis sometimes lessened the FemmePower impact (2-D sketch characters), just about every stock SpyFemmeFatale trick in the book (poisoned lipsticks, karate chops, drugged drinks, etc) was used during  the series' long run,  enacted by some of the 60s most fetching FEMMEtasms ... The funniest show of the decade, it's one of the rare series consistently providing laughs and boners, following a Burlesque-Vaudevillian tradition of Gags & Girls...  "Maxwell Smart" is the Everyman Secret Agent, and just like the Average Joe, he proves most susceptible to Feminine Wiles & Allure...

Rumor has it that 99's character name was original "69..." Barbara Feldon's take on a SpyGirl made for one of the sweeter, more wholesome Heroines... Like a Best Friend who's always around to bail you out... Her role worsened as she became romantically attracted to Max...

Angelique Pettyjohn had a re-occurring role as "Charlie Watkins," a most convincing cross-dresser...
