"Minerva, Mayhem and Millionaires" |
Sez Zsa Zsa:
"I loved the character, she was a real wicked woman. The wardrobe was all
gaudy and silver and nothing can be more exciting than that..."

Massaging a millionaire out of his
millions...

Giving Bruce the treatment...

Learning the combination to the Wayne
vault...

Beguiling The Commissioner as only Zsa Zsa, um, Minerva can...

Thanks to Starman* for the large vidcaps...

"Most fans of the show, it seems, detest this episode. Many feel the series finale should have featured one of the main villains. Yet even the plots for the main villains had become absurd (such as Joker building a flying saucer) so really, this was a fitting finale. What could be a more appropriate sendoff than an episode in which a FemmeDom type beguiles and bamboozles the boys, with Commissioner Gordon thrown in for good measure.
This time, it’s Bruce Wayne getting the treatment (literally) instead of Robin, recalling the way Lorelei Circe, The Siren had him surrendering his entire fortune. Minerva’s silver outfits also are reminiscent of Siren, particularly the boots, which may or may not be the same ones LCTS wore.
Zsa Zsa basically is playing Zsa Zsa here, and that’s OK. It certainly works in the context of the episode, although considering how much mind control was explored in this series, it would have made more sense if she used her criminal machine for flat-out brainwashing rather than merely extracting secrets.
Particularly interesting is the scene in the Commish’s office, where Gordon obviously is taken with a silver-clad Minerva, and almost seems as happy as he was when he was doing Siren’s bidding. Had Minerva been given five more minutes in the office, I have no doubt the Commish again would have eagerly
dived into the trunk of the Batmobile."
