Batman
10-26/27-1966 "The Devil's Fingers"

DOE, RAE & MIMI

No doubt giving themselves a good chuckle, the producers decided to surround the decidely-effete Liberace with three incredibly beautiful Glamazons any straight male would drool over. The red-headed "Doe" (Marilyn Hanold), raven-haired "Rae" (Edy WIlliams) and blonde "Mimi" (Sivi Aberg) at first aid Chandell with a phantom-like aura of unreal beauty and seductive evil, only to turn on him with a female viciousness...

They first appear at Wayne Manor, demanding money and jewels...

And introduce a curious weapon, the sonic brain-blasting, awful sound-blaring, knock-out rendering, bagpipe (bagpipe? Yes, bagpipe...)

These voluptuous HenchGirls just love being criminals...

Appearing as a magical FemmeForce...

Counting booty from a robbery...

Luring B&R in for a beating...

Providing a most-diverting distraction...

In a wonderfully-framed shot, Chandell announces his plans to go straight, surrounded by a sea of Femininity...

The girls decide to get rid of him...

Watch out, she's got a bagpipe, and it's loaded...

Oh, it hurts so!

Woman, thy name is pain...

Thar she blows...

Blow, girl, blow!

...Doe gets ready to blast a crooked lawyer...

Rae knows what's going to happen...

(You just don't mess with a WOman who's got a bagpipe...)

Have you ever seen a man driven to the ground
in such a manner by a WOman?

Doe cues up on Aunt Harriet...

When instructed to blow Alfred a "lullaby," she's all for it...

This fiendish gal loves giving a good blow job...

This will be the 2nd time Alfred will be bagged by the bagpipe...

Blowin' right to the end...

Even behind bars the Girls look gorgeous...

Thanks to Starman* for the large vidcaps...
There's something magical when three Beautiful WOmen band together... a Feminine Holy Trinity effect... The male eye can't stop staring back and forth between them, comparing the differences, never quite able to settle on which one he is really attracted to, ultimately attracted to all 3... This was the only time on Batman when 3 HenchGirls appeared, and tapping into the mystical quality of 3ness, the episodes played up the FEmale trio's unreal / unnatural effect, having B&R refer to them as the "felonious phantoms." The Girls also went through quite a few erotic-costume changes, to the delight of any Accoutrephiliac...
As the episodes progress, "Doe" goes wild with her surreal bagpipes, blasting 4 different characters (including Alfred off-screen) Usually Batman HenchGirls express some sense of remorse for their evil ways, but Doe went out blaring, although it was not explained why B&R did not succumb to her playing (It was also never explained how the bagpipes actually worked -- but that was the joy of watching Batman, logic was not paramount -- just the spectacle of it all...) The bagpipes also represent a Paraphilia-classification problem, as there is no known fetish as bagapipaphilia... Since it is an assault, it is a sort of Biastophilia, and with the victim being rendered unconscious, it works similar to many of the Batman Gassaphiliac attacks...
Regarding the bagpipes, Dennis Dun writes: "I recall some author attempting to link the Scottish bagpipes (traditionally made of goatskin) to the goatskin aegis of Athena.  The latter, of course, also possessed a paralyzing effect thanks to the head of Medusa thereon.  And Medusa was one of three Gorgon sisters..."
