The 1st of the Beach movie series that became more playfully absurd with each entry... While this one is the most reasonable, it does offer the absurdity of skinny runty Frankie making time with abundantly endowed Eva Six... It looks like Frankie can barely get his arms around her...

Eva's presence in the movie is one of the incongruities the Beach movies wonderfully worked in... What's a big buxom German Babe doing by the Beach? Who cares? We're just glad she's here... Like many actresses who appeared in the Beach series, her career was not sustainable outside of them and the Beach movie is actually a professional highlight...
