While the movie is essentially a gentle western musical-romance, Las Mujeres has all the elements of 1950s Science Fiction - an all female society who are powerful and walk around showing fleshy legs, looking hot carrying weapons... The clubbings are set up by seductive teasing, luring the bad guys into the woods to be bonked, a quintessential WOmWAm strategy... The beautiful Elda Peralta is equally convincing as the strong Femme Leader, able to handle any man, and as the romantic interest, the sweetheart of a  girl who just wants to be loved...
