Dick's wife and friends get an eye-full of who he's dancing with...

 

Dick's not paying any attention to them...

Don't think this bass player is wondering where Doodles went...

Later on a real Dick (Widmark) takes her for spin...

Nothing worse than getting a hard-on over another woman with your wife watching you...

 

 

As is well-documented elsewhere on the web, Vikki Dougan is famous for rear shots, so this was a meeting of the minds (of sorts) between her and Gene Kelly, a  veritable ass-man when directing (see Sue Ane Langdon in Guide for the Married Man)... Altho, one could make a case for rear-projection plagiarizing on Gene's part when comparing MM in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to Ms. Dougan...
