| Oh, and what a saga it is... Of epic proportions... You can't begin to realize how tough the Viking Women had it way back when... Every day was a saga... Now the Survey has an in-built prejudice against Roger Corman, but RC can't be excluded because he made so many movies where WOmen were the leads, and while most were lame, they also tapped into archetypical realms of Femininity... RC regulars Betsy Jones-Moreland does make for a strong Viking Amazon, and Susan Cabot easily dials up the Nasty Bitch vibe... Abby Dalton, while certainly beautiful & athletically built, was born to be a game show panelist... And the rest of the Vikingians - they're more likely to be cheerleaders at a Minnesota football game than be Warrioresses... |
