While the 1950s were somewhat demure in everyday style, as soon as you did a musical or placed a movie in outer space or in ancient times, you could take all the clothing off of WOmen and let them run about scantily clad... Joan The Bone is no abundant body,  but all the promo pix deck her out skimpily clothed , and in the actual movie she bared her strongest attribute over her physique : her delicious attitude... JC stakes out what was soon becoming her stock-n-trade territory here - she plays about as nasty a Vixen as you could get in the 50s, and does it with that delicious combination of teasing & sexy viciousness that became her calling card... She cruelly seduces & abuses an old man to get to his power & wealth, and then turns around and seduces & uses a young man to help her get rid of the old man...
