But since it's from the twisted mind of FetishMaster Frank Tashlin, it very much works in its own weird way... What both these sequences show is that in 1954 there were men just itching to get their erotic vision onto the big screen and jumped at any chance... Tashlin would have numerous opportunities, as he is the singularly most-represented director in the survey... Here he offers a vision of the Seductive Woman as a Sultry Shimmery Spider, looking to ensnare men into her web (where she will no doubt eat him alive and leave him dangling...)
