1954: Red Garters

The peculiar logic of this film is that while out there on the dusty trail, the cowboys ain't think about them doggies, but the red garters that line the thighs of Beautiful ShowGals...

The whole movie is based on a Garment / Leg Fetish as the cowboys rush up like madmen to ogle the the ShowGals' long legs...

Rosemary Clooney whips the boys into a frenzy, promising:

"Your eyes are going to bug out, 

Your chest if going to heave..."

The boys fight likes rabid wolves for the Fetish-empowered accessories as the Gals teasingly drop them into the drooling crowd...

The garters have an appeal from any angle...

In Old West Dance Hall numbers, there's always  a crazed drunken cowhand that needs to be kicked back into the crowd...

The ShowGals fire the garters like missiles into the air...

Of which the cowboys want to get bombed...
