There is something innately alien to the male mind about WOmen, and in the post-nuclear repressed sexual psyche of the early 1950s this gave genesis to the AlienFemmes From Another Planet genre.  Much has been made of how 1950s cinema dealt with the Red Communist Threat through science fiction and horror... But while that was a geo-political threat that proved transitory, the alienating, yet unceasing desire men feel for WOmen is forcefully eternal and 1950s Alien Planets Ruled By Women movies will forever serve as psychotronic depictions of the Battle of the Sexes, highlighting man's conflicting desire to rule and be-ruled by WOmen.  Of course, it's not likely this was on the minds of many dog-boy men when they put on their 3-D glasses to watch the Cat-WOmen... These thoughts are only possible in the digital age...
