A significant portion of the "comedy" on Venus is the emasculation of the men captured by the Queen and her Amazons.  On a Planet Ruled By Sexy Women, Queen Allura is the Ruler because she is the sexiest, a Matriarch who demands men submit not only to her dominance, but to the very notion that Femininity is superior to masculinity.  This is the deepest rooted insecurity of a man, that despite his strength, resolve and ingenuity, he somehow will always not measure up to a Woman.  Fat Lou is the epitome for another male insecurity when Allura shows him what the men of Venus she banished look like -- all bodybuilding Adonises. Only one thing worse than feeling you're not good enough for a Woman is that another man is better (with a bigger...)
